Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:), which rose 9.94% or 4.90 points to trade at 54.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:) added 9.59% or 4.00 points to end at 45.70 and Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:) was up 7.93% or 0.82 points to 11.16 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:), which fell 2.73% or 0.60 points to trade at 21.38 at the close. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:) declined 2.55% or 0.38 points to end at 14.52 and Advanced Petrochemical Company (SE:) was down 1.72% or 1.00 points to 57.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 143 to 37 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.66% or 1.03 to $63.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.56% or 1.12 to hit $72.89 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 6.65 to trade at $1291.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.21% to 4.1908, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 97.632.
