5 Must Know Tips for Building Better Trading Self Discipline

  1. Mine is music Nd Instagram some times I want to study some books but itโ€™s hard for me to concentrate while am listening to Music Nd Instagram is a big distraction

  2. Although I just discovered you last week this is one my favourite YouTube channel! Extremely educational! Love it!

  3. Sometimes I get bored of looking at charts and my mind wants to look at something else, but if you can make yourself stare at the charts then it becomes easier. But I have found that taking a big break from trading helps me be more focused when I am trading.

  4. Came onto YouTube to watch a trader mindset vid, clicked on your vid(always a good move) found it ironic it was about getting distracted!.

  5. This is my favourite channel to be honest. Love how it's more than just technical analysis all the time. Actual lessons to be learned from your videos. The psychology of trading is just as, or more important than the technicals if we want to be successful at this career. You can tell you genuinely care and that is what I love about your channel.

  6. Well I'm kind of obsessed with the idea of being a successful trader, so for the first time in a long time, I can't really get much distracted, and my "pomodoros" are watching, for instance, something else about trading or trading stories (Legends of trading is a hell of a series, love it), and yeah, it does work well. I think the most important thing to self discipline is really loving and having sincere interest in what you're doing. If so, you don't even need to trait yourself, because the thing itself becomes a trait!

Very nice video by the way, Nick! Thank you for your time and effort!

  7. Good advice!
Also, dopamine is related to learning new habits too, that is why social media and smart phone use is so addictive…the dopamine release reinforce the behaviour and is especially sensitive to new stimulus (swiping, YT, FB is all formed around this concept).
