SDB (ST:) added 1.25% or 8.8 points to end at 710.0 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:) was up 0.68% or 0.5 points to 79.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swedish Match AB (ST:), which fell 4.33% or 17.6 points to trade at 389.1 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:) declined 2.61% or 6.2 points to end at 231.2 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:) was down 2.46% or 0.72 points to 28.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 365 to 258 and 64 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.81% or 1.03 to $55.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.25% or 0.80 to hit $63.03 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.85 to trade at $1422.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.53% to 10.5009, while USD/SEK fell 0.43% to 9.4268.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 97.417.
